jewellery selected for this exhibition engages with the concept of
light and its opposites: as it is conceived as a wavelength, a
physical quality of mass, an emotional state, and/or a spiritual
path. The exhibition as a whole explores the communication of mood,
poetry, expression and narrative through objects that can be worn and
interacted with.

About the Artists
Moving towards light includes a select group of 28 contemporary jewellery/object artists from Australia (NSW and VIC) and the rest of the world (UK, Germany, Taiwan, New Zealand, Slovakia, Japan, Greece, Spain, Mexico and USA). These artists have been selected from those who have exhibited as part of series of jewellery/object exhibitions called ‘Unlimited Substance’ that is being held in Sydney during 2015.
