clear head considers the purpose of making jewellery in a climate of excess and in an aesthetic environment where, released from specific discourse, there is a new challenge: to find an ability to be aesthetically oppositional.
(ABOUT THE ARTIST)

Anna Varendorff is an artist and designer working in Melbourne, Australia. She works between conceptual jewellery, installation, sculpture, design and production. In 2016 she founded the design practice ACV studio. She has exhibited in Australia and internationally since 2004 including at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA) and with Local Design in Milan in 2017 and 2018. ACV Studio’s work Glass Half Full Vase was the winner of a 2018 Wallpaper* designer of the year award, and in 2019 ACV studio was a Lane Crawford Creative Call Out finalist.
